We all like a drink now and again but drinking to the extreme
can severely damage your body in many ways. Although alcohol is
legal and socially acceptable, it's still classified as a drug.
Alcohol has claimed the lives of more young people than cocaine,
heroin and every other illegal drug combined.
80% of disorder crimes in the UK is alcohol-related ,
alcohol related crime and disorder has a major impact on the
quality of life of many people. It is associated with a wide range
of offences, e.g. the selling and serving alcohol to underage
drinkers; minor public order offences, which are anti-social by
nature; traffic offences; minor assaults; serious assaults and even
murder.
