Local Safeguarding Children Board
Local Safeguarding Children Boards agrees how relevant
organisations in each local area will co-operate and promote the
welfare of children in Cheshire. They also ensure the effectiveness
of what they do.
Local Safeguarding Children Boards are made up of
representatives of the councils, Cheshire Constabulary, Primary
Care Trusts and NHS Foundation Trusts, the Prison Service, Cheshire
Probation, Connexions Direct, Children and Family Court Advisory
Support Service, Youth Offending Team and the NSPCC
and other relevant agencies.
