I would like to request figures for the number of people on the
DNA database held by Cheshire Constabulary including a breakdown of
their age brackets.

To clarify this answer and in line with our previous answer to the
similar question you asked. Information relating to the DNA
database can be obtained from the database custodians at NPIA
through their FOI channels. Please see the following web

Cheshire Constabulary hold information relating to the total number
of individuals sampled within Cheshire and their date of birth.
Unfortunately this information does not relate directly to the
number of individuals held on the National DNA database due to a
number of reasons including;
- Individuals sampled on more than one occasion.
- Individuals with more than one DNA profile on the
database.
- Records weeded from the database.
