Terminals Lost/Stolen

Request

Under the Freedom of Information act 2000 I request access to and copies of all documents, including emails, meeting reports, minutes, emails, official communications and representations relating to losses, thefts or damage sustained by Airwave handsets in each year since 2002.

  1. I would like the response to include details of the number of terminals lost, stolen or damaged and the additional costs incurred as a result.
  2. I would also like the response to include any representations made, from ministerial, departmental or force level downwards, regarding the level of handsets put beyond use.

24/04/2008 Lost Officer leaves radio in police station. Returns from rest days and is unable to find radio. Search of station and lockers negative No
09/06/2008 Lost Officer engaged on county cover takes radio home, takes radio back to p[olice station on next tour of duty. Audit by custodian discovers radio missing, search negative. Officer beklieves it may have dropped out of kit bag between car and station No

In respect of documents. There is no information held regarding representations about lost/stolen Airwave terminals either externally or internally.
