Request
I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information
Act for copies of correspondence since May 1, 2008, including
letters, emails, faxes and similar, between the Chief Constable,
DCC, and ACCs to any representatives of the Home Office or Ministry
of Justice making specific reference to knife crime.
This request covers correspondence where the chief subject
matter discussed is the issue of knife crime, incidents of knife
crime in the force area, measures to tackle knife, or knife crime
sentencing. I understand that this is a broad request, but am
hoping that any filing system or records of correspondence on this
subject will allow retrieval of correspondence between the force
and government.
Response

There is no information held.
Following a search there are no records of any correspondence
relating to knife crime from any of the Chief Officers to anybody
at the Home Office or Ministry of Justice.
