In accordance with section 1 (1) (b) of the Act our response is
provided below;

1. Domestic Violence is not a separate category of criminal
offence. There are many offences that may occur in a domestic
environment that could be classified as Domestic Violence.

We do not proportion the budget in accordance with classes of
crime.

Yes, we have a specialist unit/dedicated team within each of our
Basic Command Units.

There are 3 x Basic Command Units (BCU). There is a dedicated
unit within each BCU. Please see answer to question 8.
