Please can you tell me whether relatives of people convicted of
terror-related offences have received financial support (or support
in kind) from their police force. This would be special
circumstances, for example, money given to a family who has lost
their main wage-earner due to him being sentenced and the police is
keen not to alienate that family and the surrounding community, in
an effort to prevent further terrorism.
If you are able to provide information I would like to know the
date it occurred, the offence committed, the make-up of the family
(number of children, etc), and the amount of financial support.
