- Out of the total number of warrants issued per year, as stated
in answer to (1), how many of those individuals have been
re-arrested?
- Out of the warrants consider high priority, as stated in the
answer to (2), how many of those individuals have been
re-arrested?
- Out of the total number of warrants issued, as stated in the
answer to (1), how many of those individuals have re-offended while
a warrant for their arrest was active?
- Out of the total number of warrants issued, as stated in the
answer to (2), how many of those individuals have re-offended while
a warrant for their arrest was active?
- Referring to the individuals stated in answer in question (5),
what crimes have they committed while a warrant for their arrest
was active?
- Referring to the individuals stated in answer in question (6),
what crimes have they committed while a warrant for their arrest
was active?
- Please provide the following information about any individual
who is the subject of a warrant for arrest for breaking their
probation licence conditions, but who has not as yet been
re-arrested: * names, ages and last offence for which they received
a custodial sentence.
Response
In relation to Question one and therefore all subsequent
questions there is no information held.
Please note: Warrants are issued by a Court upon the application
of a relevant authority or individual. Copies are held by the
police until executed then they are returned to the Courts. The
number of warrants and the variety of reasons they are issued will
vary from day to day.
The National Offender Management Unit within the Ministry of
Justice do hold the information you are seeking in what we believe
to be an easily retrievable format. You may wish to refer this
request to the HMPS.
