Please could you provide me with a copy of any letters sent by
Chief Constable, Deputy Chief Constable, Assistant Chief Constable,
Commissioner of Police or Assistant Commissioner to either the
NPIA, the Home Office or the Ministry of Justice relating to
either:
a) The workings of the DNA database and in particular its retention
of samples from children under ten or people who have not been
convicted of a crime, or
b) The proposed introduction of a National Identity Card.
Please limit the scope of this question to any items dated 1.1.08
to the date of receipt of this e-mail.
