I would like you to request through the Freedom of Information
procedures details on the funds contributed by the Towns and
Parishes in East Cheshire to the police service additional to that
raised through the normal council tax. The period I would like the
information on is the 2008/9 financial year. The area is East
Cheshire and the six Neighbourhood Policing Units within it. I know
that Nantwich Town Council contributes £14000 to the maintenance of
the town police station from its finances and I wish to find out
the level of additional funds made to police funds in the other
NPUs from town/parish council resources other than the normal
annual police rate levied.
