- How many times have you agreed to a request to delete an
"innocent person's" (somebody whose DNA was taken on arrest but
they were not charged or convicted) DNA from the register? How many
times has this taken place in 2008.
- How many requests have you had from "innocent people" (somebody
whose DNA was taken on arrest but they were not charged or
convicted) for the removal of their DNA from the database. How many
have been (a) refused or (b) still pending?
- If the total of refused applications added to pending
applications added to agreed removals does not total the sum of all
requests could you explain/detail those that have not already been
accounted for.
- In relation to the last ten applications from "innocent people"
that were refused and the last ten that were agreed please state
what offence that person had been arrested for that resulted in
them giving a DNA sample.
