Request
- How many officers have been convicted for an offence under the
Data Protection Act.
- How many officers have been cautioned for an offence under the
Data Protection Act.
- How many officers have had a complaint/investigation against
them substantiated of conduct amounting to unauthorised use of
personal data, excluding those leading to conviction or
caution.
- In each category please confirm how many of those officers
received the following misconduct outcomes;
A. Dismissal or requirement to resign (before the Conduct
Regulations 2008) and dismissal with notice (under the Conduct
Regulations 2008).
B. Reduction in rank or fine (before the Conduct Regulations 2008)
and dismissal with notice (under the Conduct Regulations).
C. Reprimand (before the Conduct Regulations 2008) or a
written/final written warning (under the Conduct Regulations
2008).
D. Written warning (before the Conduct Regulations 2008).
E. Caution imposed by a misconduct tribunal, words of advice,
management advice, management advice/action or no further
action.
