I am writing to access to the following information which relates to the period from January 1 2008 to the present day.

1. Has the force called upon the services of a psychic and or clairvoyant and or similarly gifted person (s) to assist with any investigation during the aforementioned period?

2. If yes can you state on how many occasions the force has called upon the services of a psychic and or clairvoyant and or similarly gifted person during the aforementioned period? How many separate investigations benefit from the input of a psychic and or clairvoyant and or similarly gifted person?

3. In each separate case where a psychic and or clairvoyant and or similarly gifted person was employed could you please provide a brief description of the crime (s) under investigation? (Please feel free to hold back the names of any members of the public and officers) For each case can you please provide a brief description of what the psychic/clairvoyant did?

As far as each individual case was concerned how beneficial was the psychic/ clairvoyant /similarly gifted person.

4. During the aforementioned period has the evidence of psychic and or clairvoyant and or similarly gifted person ever provided the crucial breakthrough in case? Can you please provide some details of their input?

5. Can the force please say how much it spent hiring psychics and or clairvoyants and or similarly gifted people during the aforementioned period?

6. Has the force ever carried out or commissioned research into how psychics/ clairvoyants might be of benefit during police investigations? If so can you please provide copies of this research.
