Service Costs

1. I wish to know the total cost of 'The Chief Constable's Message' forums which include the total costs of on and off site media production, catering and conference facilities.
2. I require the cost to the Constabulary of Mediscreen's services for the financial year 2008 - 2009.
3. I require the details of the contract with Eden Water for the financial year 2008 - 2009.
4. The full costs including expenses of Paul Magee aka The Sumo Guy for his 'motivational speaking'.

in accordance with section 1 (1) (b) of the Act our response is provided below;

1. "The cost of the conferences to launch the Policing Principles in total, came to £57,096.87 -- this figure includes hire of venues, transport of officers and staff, refreshments as per police regulations, printing and audio visuals. In excess of 4,000 staff were briefed on the policing principles and the policing objectives for the year. Everyone of them had a chance to contribute to improving the performance of policing in Cheshire."
2. The contract with Mediscreen was tendered for with an estimated value of £750k based on a projected spend of £250k per annum.
3. There is no contract, water is supplied via a purchase order. £60819.14 during 2008/09, including water bottles, sanitisation of the machines (a legal requirement) and cups.
4. The total cost was £17940, this was not for "Motivational Speaking", was to describe a useful Management Tool.
