Request

I am requesting information regarding your Force's payroll service under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would prefer to receive your response electronically, however if this is not possible please let me know and I will provide you with a postal address.

Could you please supply me with the following information.

The structure of your Payroll section, including:

Could you also please supply details of the number of Police Officers paid (headcount and FTE if possible), and the number of Police Staff paid (headcount and FTE if possible). Please state the relevant date at which this information was taken i.e. 31 December 2009.

Could you also please state if the payroll is administered:

Does your Force have a combined Payroll/Pensions service or are they administered separately?

Cheshire Constabulary does not have an internal payroll section as it is totally outsourced by a third party on a "fully managed" basis
