Please can you provide details of taxable car
allowances paid to senior police officers in your force over the
last two financial year.
Please can you divide this into a table consisting of:
i) Number of officers eligible for taxable car allowance
ii) Rank of officer who claimed taxable car allowance
iii) Amount paid to individual officer

In accordance with section 1(1) (a) of the Act our
response is provided below;
There is no information held.
As a result of a search of records held in storage we
can confirm that financial records for the period in question are
no longer held and have been destroyed. The retention schedule for
financial records are currently 6 years plus the current year and
records prior to 2004 are no longer retained.
