Request
Please could you inform me whether the force has given out
refreshments (food or drink) at public sex sites as part of a
strategy of policing those sites. The aim of this activity might be
to build trust with communities using the site(s) in order to
dissuade them from using them, to encourage users to report hate
crimes against them, or to carry out health outreach work. Such
aims are encouraged in the ACPO Guidance on the Policing of Public
Sex Activity.
If refreshments have been handed out, please could you provide
the following:
- The items given out and their quantities
- The date(s) they were given out
- The cost of the items.
