Teenagers Murdered

I am contacting you from Minnow Films in relation to a documentary we are currently producing for the BBC with which we require your assistance in checking some facts. We have been advised by your press office that we need to make a freedom of information request for the following information that we require.

We would like to find out whether there were any teenagers (aged 13-19) who died in the period 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2009 whose deaths were initially treated as murder and manslaughter investigations but for which no charges were ultimately brought – these will probably be cases which either have or may go to a coroner’s court. If there were not any, please respond by confirming that there were not.

For each recorded case in your police force, please could you provide the following information:
