On 30th November 1984 my mother and sister passed away in a
devastating House Fire at:
38 Danefield Road
Northwich
I have received snippets of information from family members and
have a copy of the death certificate but I feel that I need to know
the full details as I am unable to remember anything of that
day.
I would be eternally grateful to the Cheshire Constabulary if
you would disclose all information held on the death and subsequent
investigation.
Response
In accordance with section 1 (1) (a) of the Act our response is
provided below;
There is no information held by the Constabulary in relation to
the incident. We have conducted a search on both the current
systems and within the archives. We have been unable to locate any
information. This would indicate that perhaps the cause of the
deaths were not criminal. It is likely that the only other source
of information would be the Coroners office. I have provided a link
below to some information regarding the
Coroner on the Cheshire West and Chester Councils web site,
which includes the Coroners contact details.
In addition the same Council maintains the County archives and
you will find information on how to contact them on the same web
site.
