I would like to use the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to find
out how much money the force has spent on bonuses for its rank and
file police officers (from constables to superintendents) for the
past five years.
- Please provide a breakdown of how much was paid in special
priority payments
- Please provide a breakdown of how much was paid in competency
related threshold payments
- Please give a breakdown of these payments for each the past
full five financial years (or as many years as possible if five
years is impossible)
Response
In accordance with section 1 (1) (a) of the Act our response is
provided below;
I can confirm that the Cheshire Constabulary holds the
information you have requested. However the information you have
requested is reasonably accessible to you by other means and is
therefore exempt information in accordance with section 21 of the
Act.
