Following figures released earlier this year detailing the
number of registered sexual offenders that are missing, I am
looking for information on the number of registered violent
offenders that are currently missing.
Specifically, could you please provide me with the following
details:
1. The number of violent offenders that are currently registered
in your area.
2. The number of violent offenders on the register that are
currently missing. For each violent offender that is missing,
details should be given of their conviction, the date they were
released from prison and the date when they first went missing.
CLARIFICATION:-
The applicant has replied and advised that he would like the
request to cover the time period from the beginning of 2009.
He has advised that his questions relate to Violent Offenders
Orders not to violent offenders on a probation licence (MAPPA
Category 2).
