Please can I request budgetary details of Cheshire Police federation for the financial years covering 2009 and 2010 to the present date. Namely, what expenses have been incurred for social events for this period. Could you include in this, hotel expenditure, bar bills, reasons for trips and any proposed expenditure for future events. Please reply to the e-mail from which this is sent and any details in excel format.

In accordance with section 1(1) (a) of the Act our response is provided below:

There is no information held by the Cheshire Constabulary.

The Police Federation of England and Wales is a staff association for all police constables, sergeants and inspectors (including chief inspectors). It was created by the Police Act 1919. It is not a public authority therefore the Freedom of Information Act does not apply to it. The Cheshire Branch is entirely independent of the Constabulary.
