I would like to request information regarding the number of
cautions issued in your police force.
Specifically, I would like to know:
1) How many cautions were served in your area for the last three
years? I would like this information broken down by year.
2) Of these cautions, can you give a breakdown as to how many
occurred for each major type of offence, i.e. 32 burglary, 45 rape,
24 drug trafficking etc… Again I would like this broken down by
year.

In accordance with section 1(1) (b) of the Act our response is

2010 = 3,770
2009 = 3,765
2008 = 4,850
