We are currently trying to establish information with regards to possible tender opportunities for SitexOrbis with Cheshire Police

We have managed to get some information from Bluelight but have a few gaps.

Could you please provide the missing information to allow us to update our records.

Could you also please tell us your method of advertising i.e Bluelight and of any contracts are due with the next 12 months, approximately when you expect to advertise them.

Emergency Boarding and Glazing We hold emergency boarding contract for other forces, should you not be happy with your current service provision we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Provision and Monitoring of Temporary Alarms (covert Alarms)

In accordance with section 1(1) (b) of the Act our response is provided below;

Decontamination - the contract id refers to the Thames Valley Police framework. I can advise that Cheshire Police Authority are using this framework. The Supplier Cheshire Police Authority are using is REACT. The scope of Building Cleaning Contract CPA/SPU/091 Bluelight ref CHS-QTLE-89TFPG includes the provision of decontamination services as an option which the Authority can consider using once the contract has been awarded.

Building Cleaning. This refers to the Building Cleaning Contract CPA/SPU/091 Bluelight ref CHS-QTLE-89TFPG . The requester (SitexOrbis) were contacted with feedback following their PQQ submission. This contract/tender is subject to the Public Sector Contract Regulations, and once the contract has been awarded a Contract Award Notice will be submitted to the OJEU in accordance with the required time scales. The contract will also be added to the Blue Light Procurement Database.

Emergency Boarding and Glazing. The contract title as included in this FOI request matches a local contract awarded by Northumbria Police.

Cheshire Police do not hold any information on this. By way of assisting you, Cheshire Police intend to join the Thames Valley Police National framework - details are available to you on BDLP Website and selecting Thames Valley Police and you will find it under contract ID 11022 "Emergency Boarding up"

Provision and Monitoring of Temporary Alarms (covert Alarms)The contract title as included in this FOI request matches a national framework contract awarded by Greater Manchester Police. Cheshire Police are not using this contract.

When SiteOrbox expressed interest in the Building Cleaning tender, the advertisement included the following statement: For more information about doing business with Police Forces in the North West, visit Police Procurement North West. 

This website has information on how to do business with Cheshire Police and other police forces in the North West. In addition, there is information on the Cheshire Police website. 

There is no information held as to when any tender opportunities are to be advertised, for your information OJEU tender information is not able to be released prior to the OJEU Contract Notice. As advised in the How to do business section, tenders are advertised on the Blue Light Website.
