I understand your force undertakes work for the CRB as part of their process and the CRB have recently cut out a large part of that work. I am trying to assess the impact on forces so can you please provide:

  1. Details of the current structure of the team dealing with CRB checks in your force to include: numbers of staff in each role, their job title and pay scale for each role.
  2. Details of the proposed new structure after the reduction in workload to include: numbers of staff in each role, their job title and pay scale for each role.
  3. Please confirm if this new structure has been agreed with the CRB.
  4. How many staff in each role will lose their jobs as a result of these changes, if agreed?
  5. How many staff are now at risk of losing their jobs?
