Offender Disclosure Scheme that the force have received since the
scheme was first introduced.
3. The number of disclosures about registered child
sex offenders that have been made by the force following enquiries
or applications under the Child Sex Offender Disclosure Scheme
since the scheme was first introduced.
4. The number of referrals that have been made to children’s
social services following enquiries or applications under the Child
Sex Offender Disclosure Scheme since the scheme was first
introduced.

Question 4: We don't as a matter of routine record this
statistic. An important part of the scheme in Cheshire is the early
contact with Children's Services who are involved at the outset of
all such cases which tends to negate the need for a formal
referral.
