area, how many incidents of disorder have led to officers being
asked to provide assistance?
- For each incident, how many prisoners / young offenders were
charged with a criminal offence?
- Please break down all figures by date, offence type,
institution, and whether the prisoner was on remand or serving a
custodial sentence.
Response
In accordance with section 1(1) (b) of the Act our response is
provided below;
Cheshire Constabulary has three such establishments within its
area, HMP Styal, HMP Risley and HM Young Offenders Institute, Thorn
Cross. There is no information held in relation to incidents of
disorder where the Constabulary has been asked to provide
assistance to the Prison Authorities.
