There are "No Right Turn" signs at the junction of Watergate
Street and Nun's Road and at the Junction of Castle Drive and
Grosvenor Road, both in Chester.
As these signs are only mandatory between 4.30 and 6.00 pm on
Monday to Saturday they are frequently ignored by drivers who want
to turn right.
I would like to know how many warnings or prosecutions there
have been for infringement of the appropriate regulation.
Response
In accordance with section 1(1) (b) of the Act our response is
provided below;
Since 2001 there have been 74 Fixed Penalty Notices issued for
this offence on Nuns Road and 31 on Grosvenor Road.
There is no information held in relation to warnings.
