What is Cheshire Police policy on CCTV, both its own use and
data obtained by the Force for policing purposes.
What joint policies are in place with partnerships with regard
to CCTV.
Response
In accordance with section 1(1) (a) of the Act our response is
provided below;
There is no information held. The use of CCTV is governed by the
Data Protection Act 1998, adhering to the Act negates the need for
a separate policy. This applies equally to our partners.
