Details of the number of the crimes committed by OAPs (aged 65
and over) in Macclesfield and Wilmslow from January 01/2010 to
April 2011 including:
1) How old the person was and what they were arrested for.
2) Split into two separate units of information - Macclesfield
and Wilmslow.
3) Any actions/prosecutions taken as a result of those
investigations.
Subsequently clarified as follows:
You ask for details of the crimes committed by persons over 65.
This information would be impossible to supply. We would have no
information on the age of an offender until a specific crime became
detected. As detected crime is only a proportion of committed crime
any figures would not be meaningful.
Can I suggest the we alter your request to read 'the numbers of
arrests of persons over 65' In addition for question 3 we simply
ask for 'disposals'. This will probably result in a response
similar to one already published but specific to Wilmslow &
Macclesfield and include disposals, see web link:
