Request
I am writing to request details under the Freedom of Information
Act for details of payments received by the force for providing
video footage for television programmes or production films.
More specifically I am requesting the following:
1.a) The total amount received by the force during 2010/11 for
selling video clips of officers in action (recorded on force
cameras) for television programmes or production firms.
1.b) A breakdown for each item of footage sold, providing the
following details – a summary of what occurred in the clip, the
length of the clip, and the amount received for the clip.
2.a) and b) The same for 2009/10.
3.a) The total amount received by the force during 2010/11 for
allowing programmes/production companies to film them for
television shows (not including any news broadcasts).
3.b) A breakdown for each programme/production company that
filmed the force providing the following details – a summary of the
content of the programme or series, the timeframe of the footage or
series, and the amount received.
4.a) and b) The same for 2009/10.
