Request
Could you tell me over the last year the top 10 most expensive
police investigations.
Please give details of the case, how long the investigation took
place or is still taking place, whether anyone was charged and if
they were brought to court what the sentence was.
If possible, could you please also break down the cost of each
investigation.

In accordance with section 1(1) (a) of the Act our response is

There is no information held. The costs of individual
investigations is not calculated. I would refer you to a previous
request made in late 2009 from one of your colleagues, and our
