Response
In accordance with section 1(1) (b) of the Act our response is
provided below;
Cheshire Constabulary calculate and report sickness by Financial
Reporting Year rather than by Calendar Year. I have therefore
provided the appropriate Sickness rates for each of the last two
complete Financial Reporting Years (i.e 2009/10 and 2010/11).
The figures shown below represent the average sickness absence
(in working days lost per employee) for each employee type, for
each of the two Financial Reporting Years.
