Request
Further to my telephone call to your offices this morning, I am
writing to request a report detailing the number of reported road
accidents (attended by police) & the number of reported road
incidents (reported by the public, but not necessarily attended by
police), over the last 3 years, on Macclesfield Road,
Prestbury.
As a resident on the road, I am very concerned about the speed
of traffic along the road, despite the 30mph limit. I am currently
in contact with my local Councillor to make a case for a safety
scheme to be put in place. I am hoping this information will
support me with this.

Please note: The information is contained in
two tabs on the Excel sheet. The First tab contains details of
injury road traffic collisions. The police only record fatal and
injury collisions. The second tab contains details of road related
incidents that may or may not have been attended by police. It
should be noted that in the main the information is that which was
supplied at the time by members of the public and cannot be relied
upon as factual records of actual incidents.
