Assaults on Police

the number of assaults on police officer and staff while on duty in the past three years (2008/09, 2009/10, 2010/11) and the year to date 2011/12.

For each record could I have:

(a) whether the assault was verbal or physical (b) if it resulted in injury and what kind of injury (c) job title of victim (f) location of assault

In accordance with section 1(1) (b) of the Act our response is provided below;
