Inspector Mark Gammage

I am Mark Gammage, the Neighbourhood Inspector for the Congleton area. I am responsible for policing in the areas of Middlewich, Sandbach, Congleton, Alsager and Holmes Chapel.

My officers and I are committed to making the areas within Congleton Borough a safe and pleasant environment in which to live and work.

We are working hard to reduce the levels of crime and increase the number of crimes detected. We are making progress in cutting the number of burglaries, as well as the number of people killed or seriously injured on the borough's roads. Anyone who has any close experience of either of these traumatic events will agree that this needs to remain a priority for the police and local partners.

I would emphasise that it is by working with the residents who live and work in Congleton neighbourhood that enables us to identify, target and prosecute individuals who commit crime. It is your cooperation and support which is helping us to ensure that your neighbourhoods are safe and help residents feel safe.

We hold regular surgeries in the community giving the public every opportunity to speak with us to tell us what we are doing right, and just as importantly what we are doing wrong. We as the Police can only act on what information is given to us. We respond to your priorities. If I or my team is not aware a problem exists, we can't do anything to help. I would encourage the local community to help us to make a positive difference by continuing to provide their support and information.

  I joined Cheshire Police in 1986. I've worked in a variety of roles during my time here, working both in Congleton and Macclesfield. I have also worked in the Communities Unit and the Prolific Offender Unit. Now I'm a Sergeant back at Congleton.

  I joined Cheshire Police in 2008 having previously worked in Greater Manchester Police for 4 years. I now work in the Congleton Neighbourhood Policing Team and perform a wide range of duties.

  I joined Cheshire Police in 2005. I have worked mainly in the Congleton Neighbourhood Policing Unit and perform a wide range of duties.

  I joined Cheshire Police in 2000 and since that time I have worked mainly in the Macclesfield and Congleton area responding to incidents. I have now joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team at Congleton and will continue to work with the Community in Congleton.

  I joined the Cheshire Constabulary in 1986. I have worked in many different departments during that time, mainly in the Congleton area and am a member of the Congleton Neighbourhood Policing Team.

  I joined the Cheshire Constabulary in 1986. I have worked in many different departments during that time, mainly in the Congleton area and am a member of the Congleton Neighbourhood Policing Team where I am the beat manager for Smallwood in Astbury ward.

  I joined Cheshire Constabulary in January 2007, joining from Greater Manchester Police. I worked on the Congleton Investigation team before joining the new Congleton Neighbourhood Policing team later that year.

  I started my Police career in West Midlands Police and transferred to Cheshire Police in 2007. During my time here I have worked as a response officer in the Crewe and Congleton areas. I continue to work with the Community in Congleton on the Neighbourhood team.

  I joined Cheshire Police in 2003 where I have worked as a response officer in the Macclesfield and Congleton areas. I joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team at Congleton and will continue to work with the Community in Congleton.

  I joined Cheshire Constabulary in 2008. I've worked in Nantwich, Middlewich custody and Congleton. I am now working in Congleton to improve the quality of life for people living and working in the area.

• PC Carol Rayner

  I have more than 25 years' service with Cheshire Police. I worked in the drug squad, and have special training for rape investigations. I joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team in 2004 and am the beat manager for the town centre area.

• PCSO Julia Short

  I joined Cheshire Police in 1997 as a traffic warden at Knutsford. In 2006, I became a PCSO. I transferred to Congleton in April 2008 and am the local beat officer for Congleton West and rural areas.

• PCSO Barry Phillips

  I began my career with the Cheshire Police as a PCSO in June 2008. I have been a member of the Congleton Neighbourhood Policing Team since then. I am the local beat officer for Congleton Town Centre and Lower Heath area. I also run the town's ShopWatch scheme.

  I joined Cheshire Police as a Police Community Support Officer in 2009. I am the local beat officer for Buglawton and Timbersbrook and run the town's Community SpeedWatch and Business Watch schemes.

  I joined Cheshire Police as a Police Community Support Officer in 2009. I was previously a Police Community Support Officer in the Metropolitan Police for 2 years. I am the local beat officer for the Bromley Farm and Mossley areas.
