Speeding
You said: To target speeding on Crewe Road in Haslington.
We did: Local officers and PCSO Charlesworth have patrolled the area regularly on days and nights. The mobile traffic calming device 'Smiley sid' has been deployed in the areas of Crewe road Haslington and Crewe road Winterly. This has helped to reduce the amount of speeding complaints from the village. Despite the road signs displaying 30 mile an hour and "smiley sid" drivers continue to break the speed limit. There is always room for more community speed watch volunteers please email crewe.npt@cheshire.pnn.police.uk if interested.
