Shavington is made up of three parishes, Shavington, Rope &
Wistaston. Shavington is host to a new medical centre built to
service all three parishes. The three area's are serviced by a
number of local convenience stores dotted around the area, but the
Wistaston area have the use of a number of different shops situated
in the precinct in Kings Drive. The A500 Shavington bypass passes
through the area. A very popular local attraction is Joey the swan
situated on Church Lane in Wistaston. Joey the Swan is a large
outdoor public space consisting of woodlands; green open space and
a children’s play area.

Speeding - To continue speedwatch sessions in
the areas identified by the local Parish Council and local
residents.
Anti-social behaviour - To continue to monitor
the problem areas highlighted as having anti social behaviour and
addressing the reports of youths using alcohol and drugs.
Suspicious vehicles - To continue to
monitor and stop check suspicious persons and vehicles in the
Shavington and Wells Green area.
