Inspector Brian Green
I am Brian Green, the Neighbourhood Inspector for the
Ellesmere Port and Neston area and I am responsible for policing in
the towns of Ellesmere Port and Neston.
I have been a Police Officer for over 16 years which has
predominantly been spent serving the West Cheshire areas at
Ellesmere Port, Chester, Northwich and Winsford. I have worked for
a variety of departments within the Police and been engaged in
front line Operational Policing roles and have also spent time in
Criminal Investigation Departments and Criminal Justice and
Partnership environments. My varied background has given me an
insight into all aspects of Policing and as a result I am well
placed to listen and understand members of the community and aim to
provide a service that addresses the communities needs.
There has been a steady reduction of incidents reported in all
crime categories in Ellesmere Port and Neston which will we aim to
continue. I have no doubt that these improvements are down to the
hard work and effort put in by all the officers in the
Neighbourhood Policing Team that are determined to constantly
improve and achieve more. Success has also been achieved by the
forming of close working relationships that have been developed
with the community and partners. We need to work hard to develop
these relationships and identify new ones for future success.
My main objective is to ensure the people of Ellesmere Port and
Neston are safe and feel safe in the places they live and work.
This will be achieved by us all working together to reduce all
elements of crime and anti-social-behaviour and to ensure that
whenever possible you are protected from those individuals that
cause the most harm and distress within your communities. I want
the residents and employees of Ellesmere Port and Neston to have
confidence in your local Police team to know that when you require
our service you will receive a professional and appropriate
response to your needs.
I am really excited at the prospect of the challenge ahead for
the next 12 months in what will no doubt be a demanding year for
all aspects of the Police service. It is important during these
times that we remain focussed, open to change, innovative and
enthusiastic whilst working together to achieve continued
success.
