Mobberley
Priority Type: Speeding and parking issues
Description: Reports from residents and the local council on parking issues on Town Lane especially in front of the shops. There has also been reports of speeding a long the same road from the local council. The police will be issuing advisory notices and FPN for parking obstructions. Local Officers/PCSO’s have been out with the speed gun along Town lane and sending out letters to any persons exceeding the speed limit. If there are any incidents of this nature we advise people to call 101 so we are able to monitor.

Pickmere and Great Warford
Priority Type: Speeding issues
Description: Reports from the local council on speeding issues on Merrymans Lane, Mill Lane and Chelford road. In the Pickmere area this is Pickmere Lane that seems to be the worst. The Police are working with the local council are arranging to go out with the local speed watch teams and with the Traffic officers to monitor this problem. The SID (Speed identification device) will also be placed in both areas.

High Legh
Priority Type: Anti-social behaviour issues
Description: The council and local residents have made several complaints about youths causing ASB near to Somerville close and Pheasant walk, Youths will be stopped checked by the Police and also details will be obtained of any regular youths causing a nuisance. Youths will be asked to move on if they are causing disruption, if this progresses more Police visibility will be needed in the area and more action may need to be taken.

Plumley
Priority Type: Speeding issues
Description: Reports again from local residents and the council of speeding in the area, mainly a long Plumley Moor Road. It will be arranged that Traffic officers (OSU) will go down to Plumley and monitor the speeding issues, Advisory notices will be sent out to people. More Visibility will be given at the key times.

From 01/04/13 to 30/04/13 - Speeding, Rural Knutsford

We did: A number of Traffic Officers (OSU)
attended the areas doing speed enforcement. More Visibility was
provided, although it’s a key issue in the area’s we believe a good
amount of positive action has been taken to reduce the amount of
speeding we have been having.
