Local priorities set for the period of 1st May 2012 to 31st May 2012

The local priorities for the month are decided upon by your local team, in consultation with Sergeant Mick Warren who carries out a review of all information held on the Police Systems relating to your area. In addition, information received in other formats, such as communication to our Neighbourhood Policing Team email mailbox or talking to one of your team members on foot patrols is also taken into consideration before the priorities are decided on.

• From 01/04/2012 to 30/04/2012 - Traffic issues

  You said: To target traffic issues (speeding and parking) on Victoria Road during the day time.

  We did: We continue to support the proposals made by Councillor Brown regarding yellow lines, and PCSO Gary Barnes continues to target the speeders with regular outings during the afternoon, which the speed data shows us is the worst time for speeding.
