Local priorities
Local priorities set for the period of
1st May 2012 to 31st May 2012
The local priorities for the month are decided upon by your
local team, in consultation with Sergeant Mick Warren who carries
out a review of all information held on the Police Systems relating
to your area. In addition, information received in other formats,
such as communication to our Neighbourhood Policing Team email
mailbox or talking to one of your team members on foot patrols is
also taken into consideration before the priorities are decided
on.
If you require additional information, please contact us and we
can discuss the matter further with you.

You said: One of our last local priorities was to target anti-social behaviour in the York Street / Victoria Park areas during evenings especially at weekends.
We did: We have increased our visibility in the area during key times by officers on foot walking through the area. We are also working closely with the newly formed home watch group to monitor events in and around the park. Incidents seem to have reduced considerably, although we are aware this may be due to the poor weather so we will continue to focus on the area.
