Local priorities
Local priorities set for the
period of 1st May 2012 to 31st May 2012
The local priorities for the month are decided upon by your
local team, in consultation with Sergeant Mick Warren who carries
out a review of all information held on the Police Systems relating
to your area. In addition, information received in other formats,
such as communication to our Neighbourhood Policing Team email
mailbox or talking to one of your team members on foot patrols is
also taken into consideration before the priorities are decided
on.

You Said, We Did
-
From 01/04/2012 to 30/04/2012 - Speeding
You said: To tackle speeding on Brookledge Lane outside the primary school during mornings and afternoons during the week.
We did: We have gathered speeding data on Brookledge Lane and we are working closely with the School to carry out a driver engagement day on 17th May. This will involve speeding motorists being stopped and spoken to by the children regarding their speed. The idea behind this is to try and educate regular users of the road that there is a school within the 30mph zone and what the possible consequences of speeding could be. After this event it is planned to continue with both educational and speed enforcement days.
