Inspector Paul Loughlin

Inspector Paul LoughlinI am Inspector Paul Loughlin. I have the responsibility for the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Northwich.

The majority of my policing career has been spent in the CID as a Detective Constable and Detective Sergeant.

In 2007 I joined the Northwich Neighbourhood Policing Team as a Sergeant. I later worked on secondment to Vale Royal Borough Council, leading on tackling anti-social behaviour in Vale Royal.

Before I returned to the Neighbourhood Policing Unit as an Inspector, I worked on a project to implement Neighbourhood Management in Rudheath, Northwich.

Having returned to the Neighbourhood Policing Unit I am focused on reducing the number of victims of crime and anti-social behaviour and targeting those people who bring misery to the Northwich community.

We have strong partnerships in Northwich and Northwich Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to work with those partners to make your neighbourhoods even safer places to live.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to encourage members of the community to tell us what they know about issues in their areas, to enable us to take pro-active steps to tackle them.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team Officers hold regular meetings in their beat areas. I would like to encourage people to take these opportunities to shape how we provide a quality and relevant police service to the people of Northwich.
