• Vehicle crime - To deal with the damaged caused and theft from motor vehicles in the Preston Brook Area.

You Said, We Did

• From 01/02/2012 to 29/02/2012 - Shed breaks

  You said: You already reported the ongoing issues with shed and garage breaks in the area. As previously said we had a high level of these incidents before and after Christmas.

  We did: We increased patrols, uniform and plain cloths, also requests made to local residents to stay extra vigilant. I'm happy to report that these offences in the area have greatly reduced and there are currently a number of individuals under investigation. Also thanks to residents vigilance 3 individuals were reported acting suspiciously in the Preston Brook Area. They were promptly stopped by officers and found to be in possession of items which are used when breaking into sheds and garages. They are currently on bail whilst further evidence is gathered. If that important call had not been made we may have had a lot of offences committed that night.
