Inspector Chris Adkins

I am Chris Adkins the Neighbourhood Inspector responsible for Warrington East, which includes the communities of Birchwood, Padgate, Woolston, Rixton, Glazebrook, Glazebury, Culcheth, Croft and Fearnhead.

I joined Merseyside Police in 1996 and worked in a variety of roles, all front line before transferring to Cheshire Constabulary in 2005. Following promotion to Sergeant in 2007 I performed the role of Custody Sergeant at the Northern Custody suite in Runcorn, before moving to Warrington South where I have spent the last 2 years prior to my promotion to the rank of Inspector.

I am delighted to back at Warrington East, I was based here as a Constable after I first transferred and I grew up in the area, so I know it well. My priorities are not only to work with the community to detect and reduce crime and incidents of anti-social behaviour, but to work together to understand what causes the issues that affect us all and to prevent them moving forward.

You have a highly motivated and dedicated team of Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers who are committed to ensuring that the community of Warrington East are safe and feel safe. I want my officers to be visible in the community and I want the community to know who I am, who their local officers and PCSOs are and how they can contact us.
