Inspector Peter Minghella
I am Peter Minghella the Inspector for Warrington
Town Centre stationed at Arpley Street Police Station. I have over
20 years experience as a Police Officer, which has mainly been
front line duties. The last 5 years I have been an Inspector where
I have covered both Neighbourhood and Response Duties. It is my aim
that my team look to maintain that whilst in the Town Centre that
you are safe and more importantly feel safe throughout both its day
and night time economies.
Together with my officers, we have developed strong links with
local businesses, licensed premises, residents, voluntary groups
and partner agencies, who we work with on a regular basis. The Town
Centre team continues to build on the excellent successes it has
achieved since being formed in 2008 and I will ensure that
Constables and PCSOs spend the majority of their time on visible
patrol providing reassurance and preventing and detecting crime and
disorder.
My key priorities are to reduce violent crime, retail crime and
anti social behaviour in the town centre and my experienced team of
officers are committed to making the town centre a safer place to
live, work and visit. Community and Retail Action Meetings are held
regularly and I would encourage residents and retailers to continue
to attend these meetings and have their say on how we deliver
policing in the town centre.
