Local priorities set for the period of 1st May 2012 to 31st May 20122

Local priorities agreed following local meetings:

• HGV's - To target Heavy Goods Vehicles driving through Burtonwood Village in contravention of restrictions between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. 
• Vehicle anti-social behaviour - To tackle vehicle anti-social behaviour at Apollo Park, Westbrook - particulary during the evening at weekends.

  You said: One of the last local priorities set was to tackle heavy goods vehicles driving through Burtonwood Village in contravention of restrictions between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

  We did: This month, PCSO Richard Unsworth has sent 13 HGV warning letters to vehicles identified to him by the Community Lorry Watch.

• Vehicle anti-social behaviour

  You said: The other local priority set was to tackle vehicle anti-social behaviour at Apollo Park, Westbrook - particulary during the evening at weekends.

  We did: PCSO Colin O'Brien has continued to pay extra attention to Apollo Park and Carina Park over the last month. Incidents remain sporadic but Colin will continue to prioritise this area. this area.
