Great Sankey, Whittle Hall, Penketh/Cuerdley are located in the
West of Warrington. The areas are made up of some Social Housing
but mostly housing is privately owned. The area is bordered by the
M62 motorway to the north, Sankey Valley Park to the East, Widnes
to the West and the River Mersey to the South. It is mostly
residential with a large Leisure Centre situated adjacent to Gt.
Sankey High School. Other large High Schools are St. Gregory's and
