Local priorities set for the period of 1st May 2012 to 31st May 2012

Our priorities for this month have been set following discussions with the community:

Farnworth

• Speeding -  Residents have raised their concerns with regards to speeding on Birchfield Road.

Halton View

• Parking - We have been made aware of parking issues on School Way and outside Moorfield Primary School

You Said, We Did

• From 01/04/12 to 31/04/12 - Parking problems, Farnworth

  You said: You wanted us to deal with the parking on the corner/junction of Derby Road/ Farnworth Street.

  We did: This area has been patrolled to try to deter drivers from parking on the corner and causing problems. There is a meeting on 8th May regarding improving the layout of the junction, we hope these talks will be successful in making this area safer for our residents.

• Parking issues, Halton View

  You said: Residents raised concerns abut the cars parking outside the Spar on Halton View Road.

  We did: The parking problems have been monitored throughout the month and PCSO Blakemore has been liaising with the shop keepers about these issues. The council are also fully aware of the problems that are occurring at this location and at present we have had no reports of parking problems this month
